Hey guys, CheeryMoya with yet another update. Between trying to enjoy our summer breaks and dealing with reality, we’ve been doing more stuff. What kinds of stuff? Cool stuff, that’s what.
My Beautiful AI is old news, so those who have already played it already know about one of the fancy effects in one of the endings. However, that effect doesn’t seem to work for the Mac OS. We’ve just patched up that problem now, so if you run the Mac OS and want to give the game a whirl, here’s the download! And for Windows and Linux users who haven’t played it yet, you can get it on the game page.
For more recent news, remember that support drive from the last post? Heads up that the $100 goal ends in 2 weeks from now! One of our donors has given us permission to publish his gift in order to demonstrate how the gift works. He didn’t request anything specific, so we wrote him a bit about Elise getting sick and Renee dropping by for a visit. Here’s the sample below:
I hear a knock at my bedroom door. Before I can even try to invite her in, Renee barges into my room.
“Oh Elise, you poor dear! You look absolutely terrible! I brought you something because I figured it’d cheer you up.”
“Thanks…?” I manage to choke out, smiling mostly out of politeness. My voice sounds disgustingly hoarse and dry. It’s nice of her to think of me, but right now I need to relax and she is anything but relaxing.
“Here, have this ribbon,” she says, pulling something out, “it’s the world’s best placebo!” She does my hair into some weird style with the ribbon, while I stare at her helplessly. I make sure to cough on her arm a few times to show my displeasure, but she doesn’t notice. Renee always seems in good health anyway so I’m not worried about getting her sick.
Once done, she digs through one of her many purses and triumphantly holds a mirror to my face. “Tada! You look better now! Well, kinda.”
Have to admit that the ribbon actually does look cute with my red nose. What a weird way to coordinate colors.
“Oh yeah, Aaron told me to tell you that he hopes you get better soon too.” Renee puts a thoughtful finger to her chin. “You know, he’s been asking me about fashion tips lately. I wonder what he’s thinking. Maybe he’s…”
And she goes on like that for hours, as she sits comfortably on the edge of my bed. I close my eyes and try to sleep, which doesn’t work.
The stories will be at the very least 200 words in length, and the drawing will be a short thing like that. For any amount of money, that’s a pretty sweet deal huh? So please give!
And we’re working at the scripts for TWCC and Ibuki Magica! I’ve been getting stuff for Santos’s route done, while Gutsy’s been working on all the introductions of the girls and Jukabey. We’re also working on some shorter projects, so we can have some games for you while you wait for the larger projects to be finished.

Donators get a story AND a drawing? Sah-weeeet! I’ll think about something good to request.
